Bacon Survivor

Bacon Survivor

The setup is simple enough to explain in one line: a pig with a gun, a field, and monsters that never stop arriving. What happens after that is entirely up to the choices you make under pressure.

Shots leave the barrel without you asking, so the game is not testing your aim. It is testing whether you can read a crowded screen - which gap is closing, which cluster is worth walking into, which one will trap you.

Levelling up freezes the chaos for a moment and hands you three cards. Take the healing and survive the next minute; take the damage and hope you do not need the healing. That trade repeats maybe fifteen times per run, and it is where runs are won.

Coins survive your death even when you do not. Spend them between attempts on outfits and lasting perks, and the difficulty curve slowly bends in your favour.

Controls

Desktop: WASD or the arrow keys to move. Mouse click to select an upgrade card.

Mobile and tablet: press anywhere and drag - a virtual stick appears under your thumb. Tap a card to choose an upgrade.

Firing is automatic on both. You never press an attack button, so treat your movement as your aim.

Things worth knowing before your first run

  1. Experience orbs do not travel to you. If you do not walk over them, that level-up never happens.
  2. Duplicate weapons can be merged into a stronger single weapon - hoarding two weak copies is usually the wrong call.
  3. Damage upgrades feel good and get you killed. One survivability pick per three offensive picks is a healthier ratio.
  4. Bosses telegraph before they act. The tell is short, but it is always there.
  5. Standing still is only safe for about a second and a half. Assume you are always about to be surrounded.

Is Bacon Survivor free to play?

It is. Open it on Pokiig and the run starts in your browser - nothing to install, nothing to sign up for.

Which devices does Bacon Survivor support?

Desktop browsers with a keyboard, plus phones and tablets using the drag stick. The game scales to the screen, so a phone run plays the same as a laptop run.
